There are several stones recorded in the immediate area on a patch of ground behind the farm at Mount Pleasant. However this seems to be the only obvious upright example with the others recumbent and hidden amongst the rubbish and undergrowth. The significance of the site is emphasised by an henge to the west and the couple of mediaeval Holy Wells in the village.
