Troed Rhiw Wen, Brecknockshire
Wales
National grid reference: SN 83602567
This boulder of Old Red Sandstone is about 1m square and 1.6m high. At 343m above O.D. it stands high on a small terrace with another stone recumbent at the west end which at some time was possibly erect too. These could have been a pair overlooking the branching of Afon Hydfer, a tributary of the River Usk(Afon Wysg) which flows East from here in the Brecon Beacons.
